 "Staying at Beverly Lavigne's cottage was like a week at a charming beach cottage out of a magazine.  The beautiful hanging window box plants, amazing interior details, comfortable furniture and original artwork made our stay pleasant and restorative.  Everything was provided for from linens to bicycles to the wecome basket of goodies.  Shor t walks and bicycles rides led to quaint neighborhoods and to the beach. We definately had a good time.  Ms.  D . "  I was lucky to be able to rent this adorable cottage in Old Orchard Beach.  The location is excellent !  It is 5 minutes away from the pier, the train station and other service conveniences.  The house itself reminded me of a by-gone era, with original wainscoting on the walls and other architerctural details not found in todays' homes.  However, the kitchen is totally up todate, and its'  large size was perfect for us to use as gathering spot.  There were other amenities that made the house very enjoyable including games.  I enjoyed my time in the cottage, and would recommend it to anyone.  Alan - nyc - summer 2007.  maplewood
